This is our second year of A Mother’s Love, and we are honored to continue growing this initiative in the Charlotte community.

Event Schedule
Thursday, May 7
• Unpacking product, assembling and packing gift baskets
​
Friday, May 8 (Morning)
• Adding fresh flowers to each gift bag
• Final preparation for deliveries

Friday, May 8 (Delivery Day)
• All deliveries will go out

Pickup Locations
To better support our drivers and create more manageable routes, we will have multiple pickup locations this year:
• South Charlotte - William R. Davie Park
• North Charlotte - Denver, NC (location coming soon)
• South Carolina - Lancaster, SC

Nominations
Our goal is to serve 800 bereaved mothers across Charlotte and the surrounding areas this year.
​
Fundraising
Each gift basket will cost approximately $75.00 for us to create - however the retail value will be over $350. I am so excited for you all to see what we are delivering this year but for now it will have to be a surprise. To make it all happen we will need to raise approximately $75,000. (This total includes operating costs and other fees associated with the project.)

Why are we launching this project?
If you lose your parents - you are called an Orphan. If you lose your husband - you are called a Widow. There is no name for someone who has lost a child - there is no name to identify their loss. This Spring we will work to identify mother's who have lost a child - via nominations from the community. We will gather as a community to create flower arrangements and deliver these gifts across our city. We will raise the funds to make this possible. Our mission is remind them that they are not forgotten and that their pain is not forgotten.
